THE HAGUE, The Netherlands – The first Filipino ice cream in Europe was started in a family kitchen using a portable ice cream maker.
Luneta Ice Cream, a Dutch company with Filipino roots based in Hoofddorp, The Netherlands, is giving overseas Pinoys in Europe a sweet taste of home.
The Filipino food truck “Luneta Ice Cream” recently won two awards through public voting at the De Nederlandse HORECA (Hotels, Restaurants and Café) Prijzen.

Mula sa simpleng plano na makapagbenta lang sa mga kapwa Pilipino, pumatok maging sa ibang lahi na nasa Europa ang negosyong ice cream at beer na itinayo ng isang mag-asawang Pinoy sa The Netherlands. Ang pangalan ng kanilang produkto –Luneta at Guapito.
